The morning was warm, and I could hear the wind rippling through the tall trees surrounding the beautiful Inn at Old Virginia where Melanie and her bridesmaids were getting ready. After a quiet morning prepping for the day, the ladies said goodbye to the Inn and headed to the Frontier Culture Farm of Virginia where the ceremony & reception would take place. As we drove toward the old bridge where Evan would be waiting for Melanie, we passed goats, sheep, geese and other animals wandering freely throughout the property. The ceremony was held in an amphitheater beneath the trees before the bridal party and guests made their way to the octagonal barn for the remainder of the night. As the night wound down, guests exited the barn as a perfect moon cast a silver glow across the Shenandoah Valley. Truly a special day.
