My Shooting Style
Whether itβs timeline planning assistance, location suggestions for your first look, or wrangling your family for photos - Iβve got you.
On your wedding day, I wear many different hats. In the mornings I'm calm, out of the way, and most likely tip-toeing around the room observing and documenting. As the day progresses, so does my role. I spend more time in the mix, helping where I can and delegating if needed. During group photos, I step into my most extraverted self - encouraging and time-efficient and enthusiastic. I'm not the photographer that's going to be a drill sergeant; I don't think it's necessary. I know that everyone would rather be drinking than taking 5,000 photos, so I have my system down. The remainder of the day I go back to unobtrusively documenting. By the end of the night, I have no hesitation jumping into the dance party or helping you bustle your dress.
Ultimately, I want your wedding photos to be an accurate documentation of your wedding day. I prefer to capture the real moments as they play out, rather than posing anything artificial. When it comes time for portraits, that doesnβt mean I don't give you direction! I know that being in front of a camera can feel awkward, so donβt worry, youβll be getting a lot of feedback and encouragement from me.
