Summer Rose Garden Wedding at Christianson's Nursery | Melissa + Cory

Melissa and Cory married on the most perfect July day, in the rose garden at Christianson’s Nursery in Mt Vernon. I’d been excitedly anticipating their wedding ever since the engagement session on Mt Rainier the summer before. (Highly recommend checking it out here). I knew that they would be going all out, and when I arrived to the venue I was blown away by all the beautiful details.

You know the saying “it takes a village”? When I started hearing about all of the little and big ways that Melissa and Cory and their friends and family had contributed to bringing their vision to life, I was so impressed. Melissa’s bridesmaids did her hair and makeup and made their gorgeous cake, (not to mention put on a clinic on the dance floor and cracked everyone up during the toasts.) Melissa had made her bridesmaids’ robes herself, as well as their photobooth backdrop, and I’m sure many more details I’m not even aware of. It seemed like everyone had come together to contribute in some way; even their hairless cat Mochi and dog Peaches played a role as the cake toppers (complete with frosting-covered nose and paws) and specialty cocktails (the Mochi Collins and Peaches Sunrise - are you kidding me??). Everything was clearly made with love, and it shown throughout their day.

I hope you’ll enjoy these highlights from their day! (Don’t miss that mid-aisle kiss and dip and that sparkler exit!)

Congratulations Melissa + Cory!
